Dogs in vehicles

dog's shouldn't bew in vecicles for a longer time when it's damn hot, when the sun shines on a ac, it can easliy get over 50°C, that's not got for a dog's life, there are also ppl that let there little kids inside their care to got shopping etc. when i would see something like that and it's real hot, i would smash the windows and safe either an animal or a kid inside it,

 

Of course you should involve the authorities. If you abuse animals you do not deserve them.

 

Smaller dogs die surprisingly easily from overheating. It's absolutely animal cruelty to trap a pet inside a car without cracking all the windows a bit. While I was getting my hair cut the other day, ladies next to me were talking about the toy poodle they just lost because it overheated in her car and I wanted to strangle her. THIS IS FLORIDA. ITS 98 DEGREES OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW. so yes. Fuckwits like her deserve animal cruelty punishment/charges for that.

 

^This. I leave my dog in the car every once in awhile but it's never any longer then 20 minutes with the windows open a little bit and usually try and park in the shade.
But the people that leave their dogs in the car for long periods of time is cruel. The people that smash peoples windows in to get a dog out is a little to far unless the dog is noticeably severely suffering from heat then I think its the right thing to do.

 

I hate people that leave their dogs in their cars on a hot summer day. Anyone that thinks differently, I invite you to stay in your car with it off for 15 minutes with no water. You can even roll down your windows to see how useless it is.

Of course, if it's cold out, it's not as big of a deal.

 

20 minutes is plenty of time to severely overheat a dog if its in the 90s. If the windows are cracked and the person is back in 10 minutes it really isn't a big deal.

 

Pets are likes kids, they can die by heat.

 

Ya, completely agree with that, the should be no regulation other than, its okay if its safe, and if it isn't than it should be illegal or w/e.

edit: Also, I've got a jeep and almost never have the top on, so I don't have to worry about my dog not getting enough air

 

I always thought the Chinese boiled them; I've never really heard of this cooking method..

With the windows down? I see no problem with that.

 

I agree, but either should a little kid, and animals should be treated as human beings.

Also, animal cruelty laws suck and do NOT serve justice like they should.

 

If its hot out you'd have to have the windows down all the way so you'd have to tie the dog up. I wouldn't mind that at all but most people don't do that.
