Does this count as being scammed?

    hello,

Thank you for taking the time to read. Please respond with your thoughts.

I recently bought an account from crazy.gold two days ago.

Upon purchase they asked for my email address which I would like linked to the account. I sent it. I wasn’t aware at the time I wouldn’t be receiving the original login email to avoid “reselling”.

Information given was: original email address, password, time created, location created and internet provider.

I wanted to test if Crazy.Gold recovered the account in the future, would I be able to recover it back from them with the information they provided.

The answer is NO I can’t.

The information provided has been blocked from Jagex. When attempting to recover the account I chose “I don’t have access to the email” which is what they could potentially use in the future.

The result is the accounts locked and the information doesn’t work. I’ve tried using a vpn to match the location, still doesn’t work.

Surely I don’t own the account if someone can block it by saying they don’t have access to my email and with the information given I can’t gain access again?

    Interested to hear thoughts.

I haven’t made a scam thread because I’m not aware whether this is usual practice for account sales?

Am I being overly paranoid here or is this a normal thought process?

Please let me know if anyone has any good/bad experiences with accounts from here.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

To kick things off, you should never buy any accounts, period.

Second, yes you are overly paranoid. Jagex has very tight security when it comes to account recovery and although the information provided to you may be fully correct or partially correct, Jagex deems it's not enough information for you to recover the account.

However, having said that, even if you had enough information to recover the account, if the original owner decides to recover, you're still out of luck, because imagine the following scenario: both of you are constantly recovering the account back and forth [or so I'd assume] - Jagex has to decide who the original owner is and the other recovery attempts that were being made will be deemed a hijack attempt and will simply reject any future recovery attempts. It could also potentially get your IP flagged imo.

If you got the account locked by the way, you should contact the site you bought the account off, they should be able to help you recover your access to it.

Ps: In the future NEVER buy accounts, but if you decide to anyway, only buy from people are convinced will not recover the account. If they decide to recover the account, there is 0 chance of you keeping the account for good, unfortunately.

    Best of luck.

Crazy should of been able to provide the original email if he's making these.

He's not a buyer and reseller like us @ acckings.com he trains his.

Curious that he didn't provide the original information. Our site doesn't for example because most accounts are bought and resold - Only select ones are made in-house - So obviously the original email wont come with an account from us, I would of expected Crazys to though.

    He

    Thanks for your response.

He provided the original email address which is needed to login I.e [email protected]. The issue I have is I can’t recover the account now it’s locked due to IP issues.

    Contact @crazypipe

His workers are foreign so I imagine this is a common issue, he'll have to recover it for you I assume.

Hello Rudekiid , I have heard about other people having problems with Crazypipe accs
You can take a look at this thread from a guy that bought a maxed melee acc from them not so long ago : Account locked under suspicion of theft

I also think that providing the IP where the acc was created is something that increase the chances of successful recoveries by buyers and he shouldnt have a problem providing all info necessary since he trains this acc to later sell them.

To clarify I dont think they scam but some people have complained about their accs and for the price you paid you should definitely be getting every little piece of info about the acc you are purchasing. I dont think this is report worthy tho.

Does this count as being scammed?

He got his account locked, whoever has accounts locked, asks us to unlock and we unlock. This guy asked, i replied if he used a vpn and he straight up chargebacked

    The user received
    Passord
    Creation month and year
    Isp
    P2p method

This is enough to recover an account, using a vpn, instead he just chargebacked

Enough said though, after charging back you lose support, and are being treated as a scammer normally. I’ll let paypal decide the outcome. To me it seems you can unlock it because it’s linked to your email, and you are faking this situation to get the acc+69$ back lol. It’s pretty strange that you have an issue with our cheapest acc and people spending over 4k on powerleveling with us or 500$ on an acc don’t
