Does Jagex now REQUIRE email registration for all accounts?

I recently tried to log into a few of my veteran accounts, that don't have an email, that I'm trying to sell. I noticed that the little red button in the bottom right corner of the email registration propaganda wasn't there anymore. Furthermore, there seems to be no way to log in without adding an email.
Anyone else experiencing this, or have any inside info?

Im pretty sure you do, I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex did this. I recommend you just add an email to the account to make it simple.

Yeah, you need an email. They want to be able to contact you and convince you to take part in some of there Micro-Transactions and stuff. Plus, it is a little bit safer.
