Does getting banned affect both OSRS and RS3?

as the title goes. I'm considering botting/autoclicking in RS3 to fund membership for OSRS on the same character, in case I get banned in RS3, will I still be able to play OSRS?

 

Yeah it will effect both games. Honestly, I'm not saying to bot, but if you're going to bot do it on 07. RS3's bot detection is way more advanced and will pick you up

 

if you were to bot, definitely bot 07rs. Higher exchange in terms of profit value.

 

Bans usually dont follow over into other servers. At least from what I've seen. I've lost 15-20 accounts over the last year. Only once was I chain banned. All on 07 none of my rs3 were hit.

90% wrong. Rwt and bot bans usually don't jump to both servers. I've had several rwt bans on either server while my other accounts were spared. They usually just hit whatever account they catch. In unusual circumstances they ip ban all of ur accounts. This happens to big stakers and gold sellers though. Not small potatoes

 

I think what OP was asking was if the account is banned on one server can he still play on the other server on that same account. Which I believe is what @scaperoon was referring to. And yes, it does impact both I believe. If you get banned on the account you're done on Runescape regardless of version.

Hattez on the other hand is saying bans don't generally cross over between games. Which makes sense as I think the teams dedicated to catching people are dedicated to one game.

You are banned from the version that you were banned on. Not the full game, afaik.
