Does caffeine stunt growth?

That's the same with most things, too much of it and it won't do anything good for you.

Caffeine is like a drug, it's addictive and bad for you in large doses.

 

I doubt it, otherwise it would have health warnings on the jar/packet.

 

Caffeine sucks calsium from your bones so yes, it stunts growth

 

I have had at least 2 cups of soda/pop everyday for the past 3-4 years(yah im fat) and I have not stopped growing at all... I believe that it does not stunt your growth...

 

i drink about 5-7 cans of cola a day i dont seem to have grown

 

I have serious doubts. As I'm nearing 6' and I drink like 2+ cups of coffee a day. Can't tell you how much tea, and I still manage to get taller.

 

yah its all bull shit stirred up by the media. To try and sell healthy products. i bet Odwalla a large all natural juice company probably just payed for that bullshit line to be dropped by a few pr spokesmen and scientists and ta dah ! You have a bullshit myth created. Most things like that travel like wildfire now that internet is so popular.

 

Umm, my Dad says it's true, but I don't believe it. I drink a lot of tea everyday, morning adn afternoon, and maybe at night. I'm 15 and I'm 6'.

 

I drink about 5 cups of coffee a day and I'm only 6'. So it may give a slight increase in the growth process.

this eyar i drank a redbull (sugarfree) almost every day of the school year, and every day of the summer

I grew 8 inches this year.

I drink two cups of coffee a day, extremely strong. I'm 6' 8" tall. If it stunts growth, it's news to me.

im pretty sure its not real i been drinking a lot of drinks with caffeine in it and i have never stopped growing i believe its just a myth...

 

ive been drinking coffee and coke for years now and im about 6''2'. i dont think it stunts anything
