Does anyone know how to remove an UNKNOWN Email?

I need help fast! I do not know the email I have registered to my old account and I cannot change the password/recovs/or email without it sending the registered address a link to visit. Does anyone know how to do this?????? PLEASE HELP!

 

i think you just sumbit for a email change and wait the 7/14 days?

 

The new system sends the registered email a link to change the email. You can't do anything without that current email......

 

but i'm fairly sure if you sumbit it for change/foregotten email w/e they call it now, you can wait said amount of days and if the email it was sent to doesn't click the link to cancel the change it should autochange.

honestly tho they keep changing stuff so much it's near impossible to keep pace.

 

I saw a guy on rs forums post and he said he didn't remember his email. A jmod told him to send email to [email protected] and they will instruct him there.

I did that but they aren't at work as usual....

 

then just wait for them to check it, remember they are human to and are probly in a different time zone.

 

I hope they check it soon. I need to get this thing removed

You should have gotten a confirmation email by the Accouthelp bot.

Depending on the status of your account (member or non) depends on the reply as members have the priority.

Members: 3-5 day response
Non: 5-7 day response

 

But it allows me 6 tries for the email then after that it tells me I need to wait one hour.

 

Read the guide carefully...

Once you click the link to the account appeal system you type in your username, a box will prompt and ask for your registered email, if you don't know it you leave it blank and click next 'twice' and you get taken to the appeal form.

 

But with the updated system, you get 6 tries to enter an email. If you get all of them wrong, you are simply blocked for an hour. You don't get to enter your recovery questions etc.
Unless i'm missing some part of your guide?

OP: Send an email to jagex saying that you don't know the email registered to your account anymore, and they should respond and help you out.

I just did everything i say and the screen prompted for me?

That is the method for the new recovery system, and i was working for the other Sythe members that did it earlier, they must have changed something within the last 2 hours. Silly me.

Actually, i did forget something. You have to get a email back from a Mod before you can do this, every link is a different ending html.

Did you get a confirmation email from the Account bot yet?

If clicking next twice isn't working, my link is invalid. When a mod replies to you he will give you a similar link with the same instructions.

Make you you clicked it twice though; if not sorry for the confusion!
