does any1 now how to do this or have tried it b4?

i want to install ubuntu onto a ram disk (a cd that works the same as a hard drive) how would i do that then boot from it and not use win xp? boot up in dos mode and read it from the cd drive? i got 3 disks of ubuntu and wanna try it. i plan to install it on a pc ive been building for a while now... just need a power supply that supports 5 hard drives...

 

You burn the ISO image to a disk (any disk)
Insert that disk into your computer
Restart your computer
and it should start automatically.
