Do you try some data recovery software? can you recommend program to recover deleted photos and videos?

I used recuva (or something like it) a few years ago which worked fine. It's painfully slow on HDD's and other physical media. Good luck.

When I drop or disable one of my hard drives I usually send it off to a data recovery company. Usually when people say they deleted something from the hard drive its not really gone it just takes the correct person to recover it. They usually charge me like $50 bucks to recover my stuff as for a personal software to use I don't know any. Hopefully you get all your data back though.

Also, Recuva. My wife somehow formatted HDD in my PC. And I need to restore some of my data. It's pretty good, but I know that there is more powerful software for data recovery.

i forget which one i used but some of them work. i guess the one everyone seems to be suggesting
