Do you think Jagex would....

Do you think Jagex would put an exp gain limit per day? Seeing all the different ways that they have tried stopping botting, rwting, etc. Do you think that one day they will put a limit as to how much exp you can gain every 24hrs? If so, what is your guess as to what the exp limit would be? 500k, 300k, 150k, or even 50k exp per 24 hrs

What are your thoughts?

 

if they did i'd say it would be between 250k - 750k. if they did, it would suck balls

 

nah i don't think they would if they did it would really be one of those last resort things but ya it would be unfair to anyone who plays the game legitly

but i guess if there was maby 400-600k xp

people that are legit can achieve 18mil per day, it has been done. so that cap would never hapen

That is true, but just looking at the past... I wouldn't be surprised.

 

I highly doubt it, some people play for more than 24+ hours at a time. Beats most smart botters.

 

I don't think it would happen, however there's always a chance.. if they did it would ruin the game for all the legit players especially if it was 50k/24 hours..
who wants to spend 250+ days to get a easy 99 capable in a month or two such as cooking :|

I think it's a definite possibility. They probably won't stoop that low as said above, but you never know.

No. They may know ways to stop botting but if it interferes with the their legit members they wont do it. They prefer tons of profit coming and and letting botting through a bit than limiting everyone and losing a large margin of money.

Its more about the money if you think about it, they just wont do something drastic like this.

i dont think that they willl bcuz a very high quantity of people would stop playing depending on the amount of xp :S

 

Look back at runescape history, they ruined merchanting & the wildy. They would do it in again in a second.

 

Eh, they won't put a set "limit," but, they could easily has an alert system that highlighted accounts that went past a certain xp amount in a period of time. I could actually see this being implimented as we type :- o.
