Do you feel safe?

used to walk through the ghetto of Coatesville alone at like 3 am. i'm not bigger or more fit than the average guy, but i know how to defend myself very well so i just strolled through that shit like a boss. people don't fuck with you unless they can sense your fear, so the best way to avoid something like that is to not fear it.

 

Honestly no, in Poland there are bunch of imbeciles in groups who are looking for the smallest reason to kick someone's ass.

 

I feel 100% safe where I live. I could probably walk down the streets at 3:00 am and not feel worried.

 

I live in a gated community, one way in and one way out, so if something does happen i'l find the fucker.

 

Yea, I live on a university campus, so nothing to really be worried about.

 

I live in a town called Shepparton in Australia, Victoria. Our town is currently being published in newspapers, shown on the news and on websites online all because of ICE. We are apparently known for the fattest town We are a town of roughly 60 thousand people. We are apparently the fattest town in our state while also apparently the town with the biggest crime rate and drugs, Especially ICE. Somehow to me that really is hard to add up -.- People all of a sudden getting fatter off ice? l0l

Anyway so my town has it's own little reputation. We have a lot of different races in the town which starts a lot of fights. There are groups of a specific race you see walking around sometimes. We have a Crime watch page on facebook which pretty much informs us of what's going on in our town or surrounding towns. They make a status on Facebook for most of the calls police are called out to with a description of what's happening.. It's pretty scary.

Our town has like 60k people but we're all brought together through fucking Facebook. If anyone needs to get the word out about anything it's through facebook lmfao.

Sometimes I don't like to walk around at night on my own but most of the time i'm okay with it as I feel like most the people I know a lot of people that would be out at night. It's like my scene too haha.

 

I live in Toronto. Anyone that lives in a big city likely agrees that it all depends on the area - I feel perfectly safe in my area, as I've walked around pretty much at all hours of the night without a problem. There's a bunch of bars around here so you'll run into a drunk person or two who might ask for a smoke but that's about it. I wouldn't dare walk around at night in a neighbourhood like Malvern, though. I've been thinking of taking up fighting as a sport so maybe once I get into that I'll feel safer.

 

i dont exactly live in a dangerous neighbor hood, but with the attacks in tunisia how safe can we be? they can be disguised as anyone?

 

I feel pretty safe, but we don't live in the nicest area to say. It can be unsettling to walk alone in the nights.

I don't feel safe if i'm alone in an area i'm not familliar with or in dark places.

 

My neighborhood is generally pretty good but when I'm walking alone at night and I see someone or a group of people approaching me I'll sometimes get tense and nervous

At my house I feel safe. Good locks and I'm armed to the teeth. Out and about I'm alert, but rarely uneasy even in shitty neighborhoods. I've had bad shit happen, and seen lots of bad stuff but I'm not dead yet. I've got too much other shit to worry about things outside of my control.

Seriously though, yeah I keep myself out of trouble. I'm back at my parents place where I used to live for this summer, but then moving into my new place next month. It's very safe here, but my new place will be in a busier area huehue

 

I mean there is never 100% safe not matter what country you live in , because there is still people who brakes social life like burglares , killers , and other bad people , so a chance that u will meat one in life is like 5% but it's still a change like winning a lottery but a bad one ;D Some countrys have less bad people some don't so yah you can't be 100% safe in life don't forget that there is many imigrants and they bring their own needs and lifes to your country for example russians, i have never met a russian that is nice, polite and etc. NEVER!!! So if some russians come to your streets there's a big chance that you won't find your car next morning or there will be alot of vodka bottles near your house

 

I couldn't feel anymore safe than i'm doing here where i live now, nothing is every gonna happend here haha

 

I have never felt safe, I have got in fights because somebody thinks I'm not very good at a sport. Where I'm from parents will go watch their kids fight. Despite that however I have been robbed at knife point where I literally had to run to get away however I have started speaking too people who I know can stand their ground so recently I have felt safer than ever

 

i think it is very dangerous when you walk at street at night. so i never go out alone at night.

 

For some reason I never feel safe if im alone outside in the night, but Im always prepared if someone tries to attack me. You can never know if someone is about to jump out of the dark and stab/kill you. I try to avoid less populated areas.

I mostly go out with friends at night, so I feel more safe..
