I only drink socialy at special occasions and stuff. I guess I kinda binge drink when I do that but not enough that I like drink and throw up and stuff. I'm 19 started at about 17

 

I am a under aged drinker , mostly at parties or with friends we drink some beers.

 

I'm 17 years old and I'm a heavy drinker. I've been drinking since I was 16 years old. From August 2011 to January 2012, I've spent nearly $735 on alcohol. I'm not necessarily proud of it, but I've had some good times.

 

I only drink occasionally, about once a month or so.

I drink everyday, most days I'll have 3-4, weekends I'll get para.

 

I don't... beer just tastes like shit where I live.

Nope. I really don't like the taste. People say you, "acquire" it, but why would I want to force myself into liking something that could potentially cause harm? Hell, I'm a Mtn Dew addict - I'd probably become an alcoholic if I started. Just my nature, I suppose.

 

I really think they should change the laws on the drinking age to 18. If 18 year olds can fight in wars, why not be able to drink?

I;m 16, had my first drink on December 27th 2011. I don't remember a thing. Scary shit happened apparently. holding off for awhile

 

I used to not like the taste of beer either. But once I hit 18, I guess my taste buds changed, because every time I drink it, it just starts tasting better and better. I used to absolutely hate it, now it's a different story.

I mean, it's not the best drink in the world, but I can definitely tolerate it much more, compared to when I used to gag from the taste. I'm actually starting to grow fond of the taste. I try not to drink it often though, because alcoholism runs through my family (even though I hardly ever have an urge to have a drink, unless it's a special occasion).

I'm 18, soon to be 19. I've tried it several times at a party or whatnot, but it's just not for me... Also, as you stated, my family has a past of alcoholics. I mean, damn, it's probably a good thing I prefer a Pepsi over a beer.

I can drink whenever I want at home, I take about one drink per week or 2 weeks during holidays.

I live in Quebec and you can start drinking at 18, but it seems like people don't really care about it, as I could order a drink in a restaurant and no one would ask for my identity cards.

 

In British Columbia, Canada, you're legally allowed to purchase liquor if you're 19 or older. I'm 21, and I enjoy drinking some quality beers, ciders, wine, or the occasional mixed drink, however I'm not a fan of getting absolutely wasted or taking shots. The feeling of being completely out of control isn't appealing to me, especially since I've had some horrible experiences when I was much younger, and I've grown up around alcoholics and have seen some crazy things go down.

 

I feel old. I play a lot of sports and work out so I don't like putting a lot of crap in my body. I won't casually drink for that reason.
