Technically Yes, because your taking their items for Profit. But, If they are stupid enough to follow you into the wilderness for a "drop" party or something, then they deserve it.

I think dragon spearing people into multi could be considered scamming, as they were never intentionally entering a multi-combat zone. Other than that though, i feel it is the person's own idiocy which gets them lured.

Rofl that would probably take some serious skill to do.

If you fall for it, then its your fault. You wouldn't follow a crazy old man with a raging boner into a dark, lonely forest because he offered to give you cookies and warm milk in real life would you(although its pretty likely that he was intending to give you something similar to the last part of his offer *perv face*)? The same applies to runescape. You wouldn't follow a 'kind' and 'polite' pure with ancient magic into the wilderness just because he offered you 200m either. If you get lured, its generally your fault.

If you walk into a zone where other people can attack you, causing you to lose your items, it's your fault.

Of course, I beleive this is one of the main reasons jagex added all the wildy limits and whatnot. But as said before, if your one of the people who looses masks to luring, you have enough experience not to fall for it.

luring is too fun to be scamming. i've been dumb enough to fall for it before but I kicked their stupid ass so i don't care but its so funny to trade someone and run deeper into wildy. they all like "oh, someone wants to give me something/show me a good drop, I'll just accept trade" and then BAM! d claws specs to hell

Hell no... Think of bsing people is the wild. When was the last time someone called that a scam or got reported for that and banned?
Luring shouldn't be called scamming. Like the lures that used to happen in the wild. 10k on the ground for anyone, oh no, you get killed. Someone just koed you, when has pking been a scam?

I think it is scamming. Say someone is younger, or doesnt speak good english for example. Anything like that can lead to a horrible lure. But on the other hand, the person would have to be dumb if they got lured recently. It been going on so long. Only new members would be affected.

Suprisingly... No. They just need to be 4 or less steps away from multi, then you just repeatedly special attack them.

It's not scamming. If the person is dumb enough to fall for it, that's their fault and the wild is different from trading someone and ripping them off.
