The immaturity and stupidity of the kids on this thread makes me giggle. As far as I know Hindus and Jews also have days when they fast. Does it mean Christians are the only superior people in this world? And get your facts straight, Quran (holy book of Islam) does say that you should kill non-believers when you're trying to protect your religion or yourself. Who the fuck wouldn't do that?

 

My friends doing it now. It's not as you're subjected to. For example people don't have to go to church. The only bad thing is how can you define dawn and dusk with a specific numerical time? Good luck Rohail.

Fasting is scientific proven that it helps the body to regain energy and renew.
How is that torturing urself? Looks like more helping yourself while you feel poorness with the poor ppl.

we don't wake up exactly before dawn and eat. My family wakes up around 3:30 am we eat by 4 and go back to bed. I think it's fair to say it's not dusk at 3 am

i celebrated with a muslim family because they asked me to, and i didnt want to disrespect them.

i fasted, prayer for HOURS a day, and helped at a soup kitchen (not very fun when your starving).

that was very ignorant. i reported your for spam and problematic (harrasment because of religion/ rude)

Sikhism you goon. Anyways more on topic, no I didn't celebrate. I worked instead. I'm fairly certain that my company doesn't consider it a holiday at all seeing as I didn't get holiday pay and nobody took it off.

Wow to all the people thinking Ramadan is torture. Do any of you know why they celebrate Ramadan? It's the month where the holy Quran was presented to the Muslims by (not exactly sure).
This is a joyous time for them.
I'm not exactly sure why fasting occurs. Will someone explain it to me? I really want to know.
