Do reports really matter?

I want to begin botting dungeoneering.
I'm aware of the low ban rate on this skill, however, I know that I've been reported 1-3 times in the past month.

Do reports really have an effect?

 

Nope, not even with these low rates.

 

How do you know you've been reported? I'd say it does matter I recon it's one of the only way jagex gettings botters

 

Well, to me there are 3 ways you can get banned.
1. a Jmod see you botting
2. you get reported several times then Jagex flag your account
3. you get flagged for suspicious gameplay (like 24/7ing the same skill, humans don't do that)

 

Very Unlikely, Multiple player reports might matter, but it's very unlikely. Most bots have a very nice Anti-Ban.

 

It is my belief that reports are what affect your ban chance the most. I've been botting on a multi space named character (hard to report) 24/7 for ages, hasn't been caught yet.

Sounds like someone doesn't know what antiban is...

 

1 and 2 I think your right but when ever I bot I bot 24/7. It has more to do with what your doing and where then how long

 

Reports do matter, but as all other factors, to a certain extent.

Bans consist of, but are not limited to the following proofs:

Multiple reports
Jmod seeing you botting

 

You dont get flagged for 24/7'ing.
I've done 24/7'ing for 1+ year, only been tempbanned 2 times, because of my own failures due to reports.
I botted 24/7 @ Livid Farming wich caused me to get tempbanned first time, then i tried to recover stats due to rollback, and were banned again.

24/7'ing doesnt matters at all, as long as you use NeXus.

 

jagex will only take action if they 100% sure that your using a macro. if they banned everyone who got reported for "use of macro" then they would be banning quite a bit of people that say have there pc off to maximize exp/h or are say watching a movie. number of times im manually skilling watching a movie in a different browser. talking just kills it.

 

Not true. I was Macro Minored once but I had no rollback. I asked a JMOD about this and they checked my account. They said they weren't 100% sure that I was macroing so they just flagged my account and temp banned me without a rollback + a closer watch on every account that goes on my IP.

 

LOL at people that think that "Anti-Ban" is something that makes it impossible to get banned.

 

Usually if it's 1 or 2 reports, Jagex blows them off. If it's like a few dozen in a certain time frame, they start watching you a little closer. But anyways, as long as your a paying member, Jagex won't really care about banning you.
