Do Permanent Bans Ever Lift?

I have a couple accounts banned for macroing and RWT. Do they ever expire? Because a previous account of mine was given a ban for macroing but now it says that it's expired.

 

If they do it will take a couple years because I got one perm banned a year and a half ago and its still banned. I've heard from some people that after a while they delete accounts that have been banned for a very long time so maybe after 4ish years you can get the name back

My perm banned expired, it was for scamming though. I'm not sure about macroing.

Lol if you put that song in your appeal they'd prob delete all your accs.

I have 2 accs that have been banned for macroing one was bout 1 week ago and the other bout 2 years ago but i havn't gotten any back

I have an RWT ban that expires, but my Macro offense does not .
I did a whole lotta begging and it didnt work, and now that the Account Review Thread doesn't check accounts banned for Macroing or RWT, im thinking your chances are slim.

 

ive heard that they do expire in like 2 years for something minor.

 

Overtime, jagex sometimes lifts them

 

Do you know this from experience? Do they do this for all offenses?

my old friend got banned for 50+ blackmarks a LONG time ago and i said i wanted to see so he gave me his pass so i could look,
and when they did the mass un-banninghe was unbanned lol.
name was like zargon1218 pass was harrypotter xd
(and bank pin took me a lil while to guess, but i eventualy figured it out, it was 1218)

 

So for how long did he stay banned? Also what were his offenses?

 

Takes a few years for it to expire, so it's all about the waiting game. Macroing and RWT included.

 

From what I have read on the forums in the past, many RWT bans were lifted that had exisited for three years or more. Any RWT ban that falls under Account Selling/sharing will expire after a certain date as they are now considered different from RWT. Incidentally, I've appealed many times and each time they've rejected my appeals so I'm waiting a year before putting in a new appeal.

I've never ever heard of them ever deleting banned accounts simply because they've not been logged in for four years. To be honest, I think that is a load of porkies.

 

Ok so it looks like I'm going to be waiting a couple years before I can access my accounts....sucks.

And i agree about the account deleting, total bull.
