Do NOT use FREE Rsbuddy scripts.

Hello everyone,

Like everybody else on Sythe I wanted to make some money, so a friend of mine suggested me to open a 'Bot farm' for those who don't know what this is, it consists of 10 - 15 bots running at once.
I was intrigued, so I decided I would do it a cheap way, I made 10 fresh accounts, applied membership to them all and had them pick potato cactus.(http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Potato_cactus)
While these were running I decided to run AutoGatestone Pro & AutoAgility Pro by Rsbots.net on my pures.
Alright so now my bot farm was complete, it had only been 45mins since the idea was given to me and it seemed like everything was lovely jubbly.

After about 30minutes I decided to go on one of my 'Mass browses' Sythe, Rsbots, etc etc.. I decided to check out the Rsbuddy site seeing as I've never really 'browsed' it before.
To my surprise it was nicely done, forums looked clean, had the right amount of members and guests online. After reading through 'The loft' subforums and browsing around, I decided to check out their free scripts section and to my shock nearly every thread I viewed would have a bunch of comments of people claiming they had been banned on the first day of usage, Some even claimed they had been banned in the first 30 minutes.

Bullsh*t I thought to myself, this cannot be true, these people are just trying to make the script developer's look bad as well as the site, after reading a few more I decided to stop.
Alright so recap now.. It had been 3 hours now since I started my bot farm.. The time now was 11:53pm and I decided to call it a night.

Woke up next morning and every single account was logged out.. Surprise surprise my Internet disconnects 37 minutes after my departure.
Naturally my instincts automatically make me check my 'pures' first but I wanted my farm to live, so I started them all up.

To my surprise, I was greeted with the 'Your account has been disabled, check your message centre for details.' alright one account of ten ain't bad is it? So I checked another, oh cool they got this one as well? Checked the third and fourth all banned.. Every single account I checked was banned apart from my pures...
Not only was I out of £50 ($80) my bot farm was dead.. These bots were like bombs just waiting to be let of.

In total I botted for about 2 hours and 35 minutes.. And I was banned (BooHoo)

To all the people who warned me not to do this, I'm sorry for not listening to you.. For anyone else who has high hopes on making it big on free scripts - Get back to the flax fields.

sucks man, injection is not the way forward. shoulda went with the gold old nexus client and payed that extra £20 for some auths.

 

You're a lot less likely to get banned using paid bots.

Have you completely given up with your bot farm now? or do you plan to return with paid for bots

im currently botting sw with debauchary sw , do you think that is easily banned? (free script on rsbot)

 

ive used free rsbuddy scripts to get thiev, fm, cook and fish
getting fletch now,..

i think u were jst unlucky, rsbuddy is best bot out there

 

Ive botted a lot with rsbuddy and never got banned, although its always been a skiller not goldfarming (potato cactus, flax)

 

Sucks man... You should use some other scripts, maybe from RSBots.

 

I've gone from 1-93 cooking in 4 days without a ban, using a free bot from rsbuddy. Although, I am expecting a roll back sometime soon.

 

I dunno.
I am VERY careful on what script I use on what bot, I have a decent number of Nexus bots, I even have a fighter. But, I find RSBuddy's Ultimate Fighter to not lag me like mad, and not crash as frequent.
So I use it.

Idk...i botted 4 99's so far with rsbuddy, and nothing :/

 

Faulty Generalization.

Just because one free script failed you, doesn't mean all free scripts are bad.

I guess it's like the Sudoku script, it just has an inconceivably high ban rate in comparison.

 

Make sure those bots you use from RSbuddy is up to date because lots of scripts in RSbuddy have not been updated regularly. I have botted 99 fletching and suicide using ArteMonks, did not even receive a ban before.

 

That sucks but you can't say all RSBuddy scripts are bad just because you got banned from picking cactus - you didn't even know the ability of the bot.

 

I dont think its rsbuddy fault, more like this script sux.

 

Its not so much every free script has a high ban chance, its the one you chose. In general any bot that picks/gathers an item over and over have a VERY high ban rate. Bots that pick these potato cactus and flax from fields for example..

I have used rsbuddy's free WC bots in the past. 100 wc bots at once and none of them got banned in a span of 10 days. Maybe I got lucky.

When you browsed the comments were you only looking at the comments for the potato cactus bots? Paid or not, botting that would probably have a high ban rate.

 

Suicide botted on my 137 anywhere from 12-50hours, never been banned. Also botted on my other accounts too.

I always check when it was last updated and who the script maker is, I also check the forum posts.
Been botting with them for around 6months+

Also, I'm not retarded when choosing the selection of bots to use, obviously botting pure essence will get your ass raped, verses botting something like mobilising armies where no one looks for bots.

 

this might sound crazy, but somewhere in my head i seem to think rsbuddy is just getting popular and is planning on hacking their users -.-

 

Ive been running rsbuddy for 3 weeks on 2 accounts, maybe its because you were running like 15 accounts on one computer.

 

Sucks. Anyway, not ALL free bots are bad. I used MasterCrafter to 70 Crafting and it was pretty good. And Deviant's Gatestone is free too and I've yet to receive a ban with that.

It's not a matter of injection/reflection.
