Do NOT Meet Zybez Users in Draynor

Just went to sell 30M worth of stuff to a guy in Draynor. I traded him, somehow my internet disconnected... The warriors there must of killed me, He must of got my IP, no idea how. And I came back on in fucking lumbridge.

Damn son, I'd as well like to know how he got your I.P. Are you sure this wasn't a coincidence? Most people wouldn't die from a warrior, so seems like a one in a million chance to actually be a scam.

Where was he trading you? Was the trading spot at the bank or near the warrior? As in, I'm wondering if you were just running towards the bank and you dc'ed, or did he actually say to meet by the warrior?

 

I'm almost 100%, I also had another guy contact me asking to meet in Draynor, said he was "chopping oaks". It was near the warrior, and I was in the bank and he said to come over by him. I didn't think anything of it tbh. :'(

 

Yep, that sounds like a scam to me. I'd really like to know how they are making people DC. Wait, were you the one to post the thread on Zybez? I was thinking, they made the thread and you sent them a PM. However, if you are the one who made the thread, then I'm sure it would be very easy for people to get your I.P. as it is via forums.

If you were adding him on Skype, then you can just use a Skype resolver to get the ip of a victim you want. Therefore he probably got your ip that way.

today someone tried to scam me with that, they failed but i almost died never knew that scam

 

I suppose they have a Zybez admin leaking them IP's? Seems really tedious to scam someone this way since it requires they be a low combat, and go to a place that is fairly remote (if you don't have a glory).

I'm a skiller, level 3. No, it's not verified by Zybez, I did not add him to Skype. Fucking sucks I lost 30M. Still can't believe it.
