Do Jagex crack down on RWT still?

Since the introduction of bonds and constant decrease in player count, has the rate of banning for RWT dropped?

 

Hmm I think they still ban people for it just as they did before. Think it's more detectable on RS3 then 07.

 

There is no "constant" decrease in player count. Both versions of the game constantly gain new players. Things haven't changed. Those who are being watched take necessary precaution to marginalize their chance of getting caught.

 

I speculate that the ban rate has moderately increased for sellers because there's less for them to hide behind.

I've been banned 3 times in the last year for large amounts for RWT. One was a false ban that I couldn't get removed, be cautious when trading.

Different IP. I was banned with about 1B '07 for essentially what they thought was "intent to RWT". I disputed it with them over Twitter for about a month before I got a response.

 

i'm sure they hate people making tons of money off of them, i'm sure it hurts their company in some way. i think they still crack down.

 

Got my bank on lvl 3 no ban so far, hope i dont jinx it lol.

Majority of the RWT bans are from the sellers though. Most buyers get away with it, unless of course you purchase like 20bil in 2147M trades.

I would assume the rate of banning players for rwt did not go down, just use mule accounts to hold money.

 

Will Jagex crack down on heavily on RWT still? Most definitely. Don't expect it to get easier.

 

Any large transactions should not be done in lumps.
