So, today i was hanging around with my mates, when i saw inside someones house family of 5 people sitting around laptop and playing rs. Do you think it's normal ... ? Do parents really misslead they kids into gaming like that ... ? I think it's pretty sad tbh, i will check that house again maybe tommorow =//

It's normal for parent's wanting to interact with their kid's, on a level which they don't understand. Most dad's are complete nerds and gamers and probably enjoy it just as much as their kid's if not more. I see nothing wrong with it.

If you take a look around you, the "Video Game Industry" is the only thing in the stock market that hasn't dropped in the past 5 years.
Halo Reach made $200+m in it's first couple days of sales, That's the industry I'd want my kid in.

A smart Father would get his kid balls deep in Computers/Technology, for the kid's future sake.

Everything else is failing hard, Automotive, Real Estate, Construction etc...

Because playing a video game has a lot to do with creating a video game. If I had a child, I'd want them to do whatever made them happy, not whatever made the most money.
