Did anyone watch the DMM Invitational III?

Woox was tanking hits away from the main zone but apparently Jagex considered it cheating and gave the title to someone else.

What do you think? Should Woox be punished for outsmarting Jagex?

Reddit is blowwwwwwwwwwing up. I expect a lot of backlash because Woox is pretty well known.

he was basically out eating the fog, and he won... But the J mods didn't like how he didnt do PvP

Scammed 10k, That NPC has been in DMM since the first season, If they didn't want it to be usable they should of disabled it.

If you think he should have won then you're undermining everything Jagex has attempted to do. It's a PVP tournament, he didn't fight and tried to win in a scummy manner. I'm glad he didn't win

Apparently Mod Ash is paying Woox out of his own pocket. That win was fair and square; no where in the rules does it say "you can't win in a scummy way."

 

If you think he should have won then you're undermining everything Jagex has attempted to do. It's a PVP tournament, he didn't fight and tried to win in a scummy manner. I'm glad he didn't win

Yea and they made multiple changes to avoid situations that so it should have been clear before hand that this would get you disqualified. Just because something slipped through the cracks and he took advantage doesn't mean he should have won. If he was some random no name (like the last winner) i guarantee everyone would be mad.

If it was really a PVP tournament they shouldn't have it always decided by gas anyway. It's an asinine mechanic. Should be used intermittently to force fights but it shouldn't stay there the entire time.

All DMM ends up being at the end is outeating, Woox just figured out a better way of outeating people.

Classic Jagex.. Overlook something and punish someone for it.

The whole mode is great but they released it WAY too early. There's been nothing but silly problems like this since they did.
