I'm finding training it pretty slow, but I guess that's expected at the lower levels..

It is like Runespan just not xp-wise. I stopped at 30. Going to restart tomorrow.

I'm doing the sensible thing and not training it (because I don't care for it right now). I don't understand why people moan about things but still play it. I play RS now for the things I like:

-sinkholes for the fast dung exp
-Port management (dunno why, but I like it)
-Battle of Lumbridge - i don't mind getting mining exp whilst watching a film

RS is a million times better when you play it to wind down time and not just play content which you bitch about outside your spare time. Makes no sense as another person pointed out.

I am not a big fan of it, but I don't really mind it either. I love watching people moan and groan about it. The only thing that really bothers me is peoples clan avatars being in the way and mis-clicking......

I stopped at level 25 but I will resume later. Not that bad of a skill, but then again, it is so similar to runespan it hurts.

Exactly this! Can't agree with you more.

 

I like it, has the feel of an old gathering skill and makes useful untradeable items.

The only thing that I hate is that they released it on the second day of university for me, had to leave for 5 hours directly after release. Level 30+ at the moment.

"Divination is a gathering skill that was developed by humans shortly after the beginning of the Sixth Age. It involves the power of the gods and how the player can connect with the gods.
The skill involves the player gathering divine energy from wisps which can be used to make certain products, such as portents or signs."

What you basically do is 'Harvest' these energy wisps which resemble runespan nodes a lot.
From harvesting these you obtain energy. You can then exchange this energy into memories/xp in a large crater near by.
