    Disputing Unfair TWC

    Link to TWC reason: https://www.sythe.org/posts/49529693/

So recently I received a TWC for not sending proper fees on a ETH transaction.

    Video's argument: [IMG]

Fox stated the ETH fee was 0.00000004 ETH, and you guys believed that without checking the facts? Literally your only argument is that the fee was miniscule (0.00000004 Ether), which is false.

Fee paid was 0.00084 Ether / $1.13 (and NOT 0.00000004 Ether) which is a proper fee and the default blockchain fee at the time of the transaction. Fox lied about this just so I was more likely to get a TWC. It's out of my control that fees suddenly increase before this transaction is able to confirm.

Fox could've asked me to resend with a higher fee at the time but didn't. After I ended my shift about 1 hour after this trade, he complained to my employee who was on shift. My employee does not have access to my wallet obviously, so there was nothing he could do. The moment I got online, I increased the fee and made sure he got the money instantly. There's literally nothing else I could've done, and it's clear that I've done nothing wrong.

Similar case two days ago with EpicMMOService, literally an identical situation and he did not receive a TWC. Explain that to me.

    resolved

    Only a few differences:
    1. I used a higher fee
    2. My transaction went through quicker

Yet I receive a TWC and he doesn't, how does that make sense? A punishment should be based on the event, not on the person that committed it or the mood of the moderator. It's clear you guys don't like me, but that doesn't mean you can treat me unfairly. This isn't the first time, I once got a TWC for not replying to a customer for 15 minutes.

We always send proper fees but there's a small chance of fees skyrocketing and it taking a while, there's nothing we (or any other goldseller) can do about that. This happens to everyone, so with this rule every trader on Sythe would have a TWC. We haven't been reported for sending low fees before, and we do many transactions per day.

You guys just make up rules as you go, there's no consistency and they're not clear. So if a transaction does not confirm after how many hours does the sender deserve a TWC? What's the concrete rule?

Other cases of low fee, that did not result in a TWC either:

    [10 sat/b BTC fee]

    Looking forward to a response.

    Thank you,

Whataboutism isn't a valid counterargument. EpicMMO has not had issues with sending low fees in the past, and he and HexaRS were able to resolve things somewhat amicably. This is not the first time you have been warned for sending payments with low fees/undersending, hence the TWC:

    [resolved]
    [resolved]

Staff discussed this as a group and won't be changing the original decision, so please check back in 30 days after the TWC was placed to dispute it. In the meantime, it is probably worth agreeing with your trading partners about fees before trades occur to prevent this from becoming an issue in the future.
