Why am I banned?

What I did was stupid and indicative of shadiness, not perm ban.

My story:

I had a rare name
I sold it
we waited 28 days until we could transfer it
he went MIA...
At the time I sold it, i really needed the money ASAP, and I took the best offer at the time that was his. I didnt even want his offer but he's all like "dude I just went to the bank, youve already sold it to me..." when i wanted to sell it to someone else who offered a higher amount.

Anyway after a few months of him not logging onto skype, I decide to check out how much the rare name would be worth after all the time elapsed. I'm not sure if i actually would of sold it if I got a big enough offer. no one ever checks the pricecheck forum so this was an easy way of doing it, I thought. I got banned within an hour of the thread happening.

So I get banned on sythe, i go to the guy i sold the account to like dude im banned on sythe, this is all a big misunderstanding. We were planning to talk to mods and nothing really happened. After a week or so he just went fucking MIA again for half a year.

In the last 2 weeks he contacted me for the account. I havnt checked but im pretty sure its RFT and good to go. I'm happy to give it to him because he bought it and i dont play the game anymore. However i wanted to sort out the sythe situation whilst i still have leverage, with the account in my position. I have invested so much into my south account and the community.

He hasn't contacted me since December 29th but the next time he comes onto skype i'll pass on the account. What do I have to do to get unbanned?

The "attempted trying to sell an account I already sold" is TWC worthy, i've done nothing else in that time. As i've said im ready to hand over the account ( he seriously pops up once every 6 months and messages me hey, I come back to see the message a few hours later, he doesn't log back in for another few months) i've explained to him I just want to get this sythe situation sorted out first.

Something from that thread actually jogged my memory.

I remember now I gave my account to coke707 so he could transfer the name off, but not keep my account as it was my main. Anyway I came back to runescape after 2 months and low and behold my account password was changed, recoveries reset and JAG security added ( a feature just added after i quit).

It couldn't of been coke707 who hacked my account because he lives in Aus and it said the last login was from New Zealand. Anway, majority of my bank was moved off the account, he put membership on it, and i just recovered the account and thought "hey well if that guy doesnt want the name anymore may as well resell it again"

But someone in the thread points out that I already sold this name and I felt that I shouldnt resell it and try and give it to the guy who paid for it a few months back. I guess at the time i was just pissed my bank was gone and he gave away my main account to someone when I told him not to and that all he had permission to do was change the name off. Smh.

mods please reply this is getting ridiculous, make a decision.

I think I see what happened...

I sold the account, said he had 30 days with my main so he could transfer it off
He sold my account,
Account was resold for a 3rd time for dat juicy rare name
3 months later, some guy reckons he has a level 80 with a rare name on it because he bought it off someone. Wanting my main back, i recover the account and I only now realise I scammed like 3 people down the line in that process because they kept reselling my account.

I initially stipulated NOT to give my account away, as all i was selling was the rare name. The tenacity for the latest dickhead to move everything out of my bank after hacking into the pin got me mad and wanted me to resell the name. But now I think i understand the situation. Its unfortunate that crooks (coke707) resold the account without transfering the name off to a dummy first, resulting in someone thinking they got scammed.

 

Ehh so, let me get this straight

You were selling the name, gave the guy the account you weren't intending to sell in order for him to transfer the name off, and he legged it with your account/bank/name and re-sold the account?

 

So the guy it got hacked off of, what's his profile link?

 

Coke PM'd me, you owe him the name or the price he paid.
