    Dispute/Order negotiation on McCrackun

I was actually playing it not afking it if that makes any sense. Honestly, I have no idea how much was left. I'll agree to whatever amount left as long as its reasonable.. I got 7119 just calculating based off average xp/hr. Im sure I threw over 2k though.

I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE EXTRA CHINS I BRANG. My apologies for that. And I am aware of that. I should have been more aware of a possibility of a server crash. I just thought ring of life would save me but since I got dropped down hp through runs, misclicks on trap with poison.. and the falling rocks or whatever, I thought I would be fine until the server fucked me.

And to answer your question @malakadang , I could not finish the service. After I told him the issue and tried to work it out with him, he completely shut out the question of me completing the order because he thought I scammed the chins lol. Therefore he changed password and I could not complete the service without supplies etc. But I can see his logic of why he changed pw, but didn't see his logic of calling me a scammer. That made me upset because that was false. Like I said I don't mind refunding for the rest of the service. I just don't want to be called/named a scammer PERIOD.

    Dispute/Order negotiation on McCrackun

Alright, well here's how I see it based on what you've both said (skip to TLDR if you want):

Due to the DC, the contract was now no longer able to be performed. There were insufficient Chins. Whether you want to call the contract 'frustrated', or breached giving McCrackun a right to terminate (which he did by changing the pw), the result is the same: he was free to change the password, as the service was over. Had there still been sufficient Chins to complete the order, the scenaro might be different, but since that wasn't the case, I won't comment more on that scenario.

The question then is the remedy. It would not be fair for @Trustmybet to keep the benefit of the 6.669m when he hadn't/was unable to perform the services that 6.669m was supposed to be for. In otherwords, the service was only partially complete, and it wouldn't be fair to keep the payment for the incomplete part of the service. So, @Trustmybet unless you think the amount based on the (total gp / total exp) * exp left leads to a different number, please refund McCrackun the 6.669m.

As to the Chins, there's no evidence that Trustmybet stole them. He say's he dc'd. There's no evidence to refute that. Him dc'ing, and, it presumably being out of his control, is a risk that @McCrackun should bear as a result of the service. However, he should only have to bear that risk to the extent that a reasonable number of Chins would be used during a 'run'.

I think as @Trustmybet admits, bringing the whole stack, was probably not reasonable. Accordingly, Trustmybet should refund the difference between the whole stack brought on the run, and the a reasonable amount to bring. I see the picture has 9,910 Chins being the whole stack brought on the run. What is a reasonable amount of Chins to bring? @McCrackun at all times said you lost '7,500' Chins. That would imply that a reasonable amount of Chins was 2,410 (9,910 - 7,500). That is about in line with what other people said on this thread. Additionally, given that I've given Trustmybet the benefit of the doubt re the server crashing, I'll give McCrackun the benefit of the doubt here and award him the 7,500 Chins. Accordingly, @Trustmybet please also refund the 7,500 Chins.

    Summary:
    1. Trustmyet should refund the 6.669m, as it would be unjust for him keep the money for the incomplete portion of the service.
      • Whether the contract was frustrated or breached, both options give rise to a possibility for McCrackun to terminate. He did terminate by changing the password, as he was entitled to do so, given the service could no longer be completed, as the Chins were lost.
    2. Trustmybet should refund the 7,500 Chins, as that was the unreasonable amount taken on the 'run'.
      • Trustmybet started with 9,910 Chins. Less 2,410 gives 7,500 Chins, what McCrackun always wanted. 2,410 Chins falls into the ballpark figure for what other people have quoted on this thread. Because I gave the benefit of the doubt re the server crash to Trustmybet, I'll give the benefit of the doubt re the reasonable number of Chins to McCrackun here.
It should be noted that there doesn't at all seem to be a scam here. Just an unfortunate event. Accordingly, please no one run their mouths off: shit happens. I'll let you two sort out a time/way to compensate. If I've made a mistake re the 6.669m figure, let me know.
