Tyro, +1.. But in all honesty, you knew what you were doing right from the start. When you young ones spend another 20-years fighting, bleeding, crying, risking your life and burying your friends for a country you love.. I hope to review your posts concerning a young kid who has no clue/respect for the hardships adults understand well beyond what a classroom teaches you. Your personal conflicts outside Sythe have led to members being banned with no solid proof. IMO, you're on your way to becoming the next Finn. Is that a Good thing?

Finn, -1.. Sorry to say you and I never got along. Finn was given $100 a week before I was promoted to sectional moderator. Did anyone else know that? Who posted the poll and recommendation in the Upper SL for Spyike to become a mod not less than 30-days after my spat/bans with Dark? I declined the mod position which upset Finn greatly. At the time, I was more interested in seeing if what I dug up on Finn was true. Yes, you're right Finn.. I never did like you as you're a proven Scammer, corrupt and treat Sythe like your own little private high-school lunch table. You surround yourself with mods that are either loyal to you, or their membership is marked. Holding Sythe hostage.. no it is more like an Admin knowing he has a mod on staff/member who knows you lack integrity and ethics. How you've held on to your position this long amazes me.

However in the end I'm nothing more than another veteran member that has become known as perhaps the most legit buyer on Sythe which draws membership and a solid market. I've gone well beyond anyone that will ever join this site in boosting donations to help Sythe deal with the challenges that will only increase. As a mod, I averaged more mod logs in a month than most have in a year. My effort and time to the site can't be questioned. I've won every single monthly popular vote for any position I've obtained to include last month's Global which some did not wish to see posted. I do all this for the RIGHT reasons which some here are just simply jealous over. Lastly, I've never lied and I still to this day have my integrity.

There are staff in place that are killing the site. There is a lack of process that allows mods to ban/promote based upon personal likes/dislikes. Sythe is as much as a business as it is a place for members to gather.. Richard there will come a time when the business aspect of Sythe must be considered and the high-school games that are impacting the site must be stopped. When?

If I am to be banned the 3-days, fine... I'll submit to the infractions as rage posts and deal with the ban; sorry. However, after the 3-days I request to be unbanned, Finn's position to be reviewed and my Global powers reinstated. My motives here at Sythe are for building a better site and anyone that honestly looks at my record will see this is what Spyike has always been about.

Considering the odds my request will even be given serious thought, what will become of Spyike? I will find a home and site to devote the same time, attention and investment as I did here. I will NEVER evade and/or become part of the problems that the questionable bans have caused for the site. IMO, most of the pain Sythe is feeling is being self-inflicted. In the end, thanks for the lessons learned and I actually wish Sythe all the best of luck no matter how this ends.

I'll start by stating that you are the most insufferable user I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with on Sythe.org. As with a couple of other users, upon being promoted, the power went to your head, and you changed completely. Despite your age and self-proclaimed experience, you are lacking in maturity of thought, expression and interaction.

You also claim to care deeply for this site. This, too, is dubious. If you truly, altruistically cared for this site in the way in which you love to present, you would not continually threaten to stop donations. You've also quite enjoyed using your staff position as some sort of political tool to hold other staff hostage. It started with implicit posts insinuating that if something went ahead, you'd take your leave. It then got more and more frequent. One of the last threats actually responded to a large and well-reasoned post by another staff member with the sole word ''resign'', as though his entire proposition was nullified by your one-word threat.

No offence, Spyike, but you know absolutely nothing about Tyro or myself. You're quite welcome to go and blow your trumpet of military self-entitlement elsewhere, but the way in which you talk to people on this site is frankly patronizing. You ought to have acknowledged by now that this site is generally populated by young members. If you take such umbrage to the demographical composition of a forum orientated around Runescape, I recommend you go and join a site dedicated to Rococo architecture. Or gardening.

Funny that you popped up last night with a sentiment about there being ''no hard feelings''. Sadly, there always are hard feelings with you, Spyike. You are neither kind or patient. In fact, the very vitriol of this thread stems from the swift banning you received upon your request. You expected to have concessions made to you on threat of permanent ban. It's frankly further exemplification of you using this site's mechanics as political tools to your advantage. The second you noticed I wasn't going to appease you and you were permanently banned (as you requested), you demanded not only an unban but reinstatement.

So? If you're trying to twist a donation for something completely external into me accepting a bribe, aren't you guilty of offering a bribe? Stop trying to grasp at straws, Spyike. There's very little left to salvage.

Who was the only active Administrator at the time? Who has established almost all promotion polls for the past two years?

I think the staff would generally testify that it is you, not I, that has caused internal troubles. You've threatened numerously to resign whenever things haven't gone your way. You are immature and fail to even acknowledge it.

Self-aggrandisement if I've ever seen it. You're not and will never be a veteran member in my eyes. A veteran donator, maybe.

I'm glad you've apologised for your spamming and ill-conduct. It's perhaps the only dignified thing you've said in this thread. I have no problem with you being unbanned after three days; after all, you did request the permanent ban. I merely awarded it as you expected to have concessions made for you. We shouldn't be following a policy of appeasement on this site. You saw what happened in Europe in the 1930s.

You can be unbanned after the three days. I don't see what will be gained from ''reviewing my position''. I've been framed innumerably over the past three years and have continually demonstrated my legitimacy. Matthew and Sythe have both logged into my Paypal accounts when claims that I was accepting illicit bribes were levelled against me. I have made mistakes in the past which I have been pardoned for. This doesn't negate their wrongness, though the efforts I have made since to combat corruption and immorality on this site has, in my opinion, been considerable. I've been highly involved in removing corrupt elements from the staff, taking all the public blame for removing their beloved thieves and crooks.

So stop with your self-aggrandisement, stop with your threats of resignation and cessation of the donation service, stop referring to yourself as ''Spyike'' as though ''Spyike'' is the Guru-fucking-Granth-Sahib and just start getting on with things. No one is irreplaceable and you sadly think you are.

 

Launching an attack on a staff member is not the way to go about this, Spyike. I'm thoroughly disgusted at your attitude over the past few weeks. You've been strolling round throwing temper tantrums every time you didn't get your own way. You really need to start acting your age.

 

Undoubtedly you're the most destructive, irrational person to have had a place on staff. If the community witnessed your personal attacks, your ideals of respect, and your lack of logic their opinions would be different.

I don't have a problem with you returning after three days as a user, but on staff... Your posts involved coercing moderators while pushing your agenda to control the site. You don't care about anyone, especially the staff. The MSN logs and your posts display that. You want to build a better site...? Please try to use teamwork...

Even the best of us have moments of "rage" that make us question the value of our membership. I've had I think three times I've questioned my membership in the almost 2-years with Sythe. One was the challenge with Dark and perhaps two concerning the process of reviews for Bans I did not feel were supported. Please Finn help me remember the numerous "rage" quits? Oh also.. You're gifted with the use of words.. sorry, I'm not.

Donation Hostage? I've had one conflict with Matthew which even Sythe supported he could have acted differently. Simple fact is I was in another country attempting to find another option for sending funds to Matthew. I have those chatlogs also.. I process over $2000 in donations each month. This means each day morning to rise I'm online to support a service. I did at one other time take a break from donations early on.. Come on Finn.. Admit it. The bright light from above was not shining on your pink crown which is why you've been the way you have toward me.

Did it upset you that Sythe promoted me to Global? I know it pissed both Tyro and Nick off. You've ignored me since and have done nothing to support my efforts. Mod logs? I log 3-months of awesome numbers and you ignored any recognition? Haha is rewarded his first month? The to follow-up, you could not even award me the x-mod which I clearly earned.

As I've always said and most will support, You are either loyal to Finn, or your time is marked.

As for the moderator comments posted, I expected the responses/posts by "Nick", "Tyro" and "Finn", however can only assume the other moderators feel the same? If so, post away and I'll stay away.

Nick. Yes, I did have a "rage" in SL reference a ban which half the moderators voted without even reviewing the proof of why we were banning a member. As for the msn chatlogs that you refer to which you wish members to see? I can only assume your talking about the msn you started with me which I clearly avoided your attempt to argue. Tyro, had you returned to moderator and presented your case in SL reference the ban, I think it would have gone over much easier.. In stead, you posted it in Feedback to do nothing but stir-up the community. Yes, I did feel this was the wrong approach.

In short, yes to everyone.. Spyike tends to sometimes take things personally. However, in the case above which triggered my resignation, a member lost his membership without a fair process. I will bump heads when members are not treated fair. Hate me, Luv me.. I've done nothing but support members.
