Dispute for ban

Okay, I believe a week ago I was banned on the username "tomnothere".

Basically, the course of action that led to this ban is that I claimed to have tried to recover account that I'm pretty sure the owner hasn't logged on in at least 1 or 2 years.

Of course, I know that this fits under the description account stealing well, but what I didn't quite know is that this is prohibited here as in the past I have seen numerous guides written on Sythe (maybe the guide users were banned because of this reason, but I didn't really check or remember). I also don't think that this was specifically addressed on the rules page, and that it didn't fit in cracking or any of the other places.

But what I'm saying is that I feel the 14 day temporary ban was sufficient, I didn't really feel the permanent ban is necessary as I haven't done anything as serious as the offences listed under perm. ban.
