Display name transfer

Say you wanted to transfer a rare display name onto a different account, how long would it take for this to happen? Is it instant? Or do you have to wait a month till the name clears or something?

 

I do not think its possible to transfer names, you can always change your in-game display name if you are members if not you cant.

I think you'd have to wait 30 days to change your name that you want to be transferred to a poop name, then wait 35 days for the rare name to be available, and then change the name that you want to be transferred onto the account that you want it to be on.

OK, here's what you do: if you have an account with a name that you want transferred to a different account, make the account with the cool name a member and change its name. Then wait the 28 days and on the day that you can change the account with the cool name's display name, make the account you want to transfer the cool name to a member. Open up two tabs; 1 for changing the account with the cool name's name and one for taking the cool name on the one you want to have the cool name. Change the account with the cool name's name again and as soon as you do, it will become available for you to take on the account you want to have the cool name.

Here's a bit simpler version

1. Change rare accounts name
2. wait 28 days
3. make the account you want to transfer the name to a member.
4. change the rare account's name again
5. take the rare name on the account you want it to be on.

This is much less riskier than the '2-day' method. However, it takes a lot longer. Definitely worth it if you have a rare name you want to transfer to your main. Good luck.

 

Not sure if that shit works as well anymore.
There is a 'Name Changed?' thread, but they might reset your name back to what it was, instead of giving you the option of changing it.

 

#1. First change display name
#2. Wait 28 days; this is for everyone
#3. then you have about a week to change it back, so you gotta wait another week, or longer if you had the rare name for a long while already.
#4. After 35 days, or longer, CHECK REGULARLY, and don't tell ANYONE about your name.
