Discussion - how much money do the leading bot clients make each year? (Estimates)

How much money do:
Powerbot,
RSBot,
DreamBot,
EpicBot,
OSBot,
etc...

...make per year? Just rough estimated.

I'm afraid this will forever be unknown. I am quite sure @Sythe wouldn't share this with you, neither would @Maldesto (OSBot), @Yoshiki @ (Powerbot), @Fluffee (Dreambot?) and so on.

 

2+2=4 - 1 = 3 million per year. Quick maths.



On a serious note: they wont tell you.

Years ago Jagex won a court case against the Snellman brothers. They ran (imo) by far the most popular botting client at the time. They were known as impsoft, rsbots.net, probably a bunch of other names. Given that runescape has been dying since I would imagine they are more profitable than any present day botting clients.

When the Snellman brothers announced they lost their court case against Jagex in around 2012 (the legal battle started in 2010), they mentioned that they were required to pay a large amount of money to Jagex but that they weren't allowed to say much about the terms. They did mention that a breach of their requirement to stay quiet would lead them to having to pay $1,000,000 (1 million), so it's not hard to imagine the amount they were required to pay Jagex was much more.

Just do some research on the Snellman brothers and their court case and maybe you will find some more information.
