When it comes to finding a MM, there are tons of threads to go through. However, their availability isn't great at all. Could their unavailability be the cause of some scams?

I'm disappointed in you.
MMs are humans...
We already have activity limits in place. As a result users like Sin, darkgroove, and a few others lost the rank.

Ix Syed Ix said:maybe you can make it so you have to do a certain number of OMMs a week/month to retain your rank. You can request rank suspension if you'll be inactive, and you would obviously get it back when you're active again. And as for the people who fall below the activity line, you could have them do 5 MMs to get their rank back. Just an idea.
I wouldn't mind MMing trades that are worth hundreds of dollars... would look good on my next applicationShall Skill said:if you're not trading hundreds of dollars: you should trust a free middleman like Darkgroove, Lilly or myself
