well i often see scams there when ppl delete or edit their posts, sythe could just disable this functions in the dicing section and the donor dicing thread

would prevent scammig a lot
if someone made a mistake like forgetting a "]" for example, they can make new post since there is no post count

Some posts still need to be edited, though. OP posts, for example, if someone forgets or makes a mistake when adding their dicing rules. It's not difficult to report posts that are edited/deleted, as they're shown to everyone.

I suggested to just disable editing a week or so ago. It makes sense and should be done.

Then it can be reported and I assume mods would be able to edit it.

Also, Support, this makes sense.

Makes perfect since now why didn't I think of that.

I support as well I'm a big dice player and would make life a lot easier.

Support, especially the deleting functions I asked a few mods to scan the pages to see if anyone deleted posts and they didn't -,-. But, anyway it would make it much better if we knew people weren't editting/deleting posts when they shouldn't be.

If they edit or delete. Their roll isn't counted.

Agreed, though the ability to edit OP's should be needed. Not sure how easy that would be to code...

Saying that, if people PM me to edit their OP's i'd happily oblige.

Knowing that people can't edit their OP whenever they want, it will give them more reasons to think about what they want in the OP more carefully. Even if that, they can report it and have it edited. Support, this will help dramastically.

Lol? They can edit or delete if they get a shit roll, so they can win, even though they were gonna lose. And now deletes can't be seen in the donor's lounge.

Exactly... So if they delete or edit their roll isn't counted so they lose.
I don't see what you don't understand about that?

Just disabling it all together is easier than possible disputes over who won.

Users' ability to edit the original posts of their threads actually allows for cheating. People can change around their rules before a scam report pops up (we've had some issues with this so far...).

That said, I don't dice myself, so I don't really mind either way.

as it stands, if someone edits or deletes a post on a dice roll its counted as an autoloss so i cant really see how this helps. but i guess it kinda makes sense

An example would be that the Op says highest number win, but later changes it to lower number wins.
I agree with op, but another option would be to have another button below, which allows people to see what was there originally and any previous edits. Idk how hard or easy it would be though.
