To everyone debating what the orange blob on his back is, yes it's a fire cape. They have a weird glitch sometimes like that if at the right angle and you die.

Sucks you lost all that man, I'd say I know how you feel but I've never lost that much.

It takes like 2-3 seconds for protect prayer to come in effect. Would probably me useless, anyways, but, protect from melee would've worked.

My classic version of this is going up to level 30-50s (I did this when I was lv75), stake like 500k-1m, kill them many times, get full of myself, then get destroyed by ancients or something. Lost about 3-8m from that before learning my lesson. Only good thing I did, was bet a guy with like 82 magic for 10-20 minutes, win like 600k and then DC before he got to kill me. Logged back in, but saw him with ancient staff and ditched.

 

This is kind of like a clue scroll I had once way out in the highest wildy (forget what it is lol) near the house way to the east. Forgot I had 20m and Full Dragon, Whip, torso, and firecape with me (how dumb lol...). I get the clue done and walking back and this random lvl 303 Chaos Elemental destroys me...

Teled back through Ardy and watched my stuff disapear...
