The update won't be implemented for a while, atleast 2 to 3 weeks because Jagex need to sort out where all the Quests and Mini-Games in the Wilderness are going to be placed in the game.

They also need to sort out the PvP Drops(Such as VLS and etc) before they can do anything.
I'll give it 2 months or so before it's put into the game.

Well, the picture was fake.

 

I think they had considered it for the future, but hadn't planned it.

If they had planned it, you wouldn't have MMG sitting in his cc having no answers to people's questions about overloads, brawling gloves, wilderness minigames, quests, and pvp armour pieces.

maybe they didn't divulge everything because they didn't want people to think that the vote was pointless because they had already planned it? Just an idea, cuz if I was letting people "vote" no matter what I thought the outcome would be, it would be a mistake to let it leak that I had no intentions of listening to the vote and that I had a pre-chosen outcome.

 

Yep, they knew they would have to bring it back and know that at least 85% would have voted yes by the time the poll finishes. IT was pre-planned so they can get more new players playing and get the old players to come back so they can make some more $$$ and whats up with that guiness world record thing
