Did I just get scammed? Help would be appreciated

So this guy came up to me and offered me a ridiculous price for 7m 07scape gold. He paid about $150 for all of them through Paypal.

He said he'll pay through gift but then after the transaction is done (he keep on asking to buy more and more and more for higher prices), I realized he paid me through a business transaction which I am the seller of a product.

So yeah, I think he paid me through shipped product and right now I have marked the payments he paid to me as 'Already shipped'. Will he now dispute the fact that he did not receive his payments?

I am fucked on a whole new level.

 

Pretty sure he'll dispute, price is definitely too high.

 

So what should I do at this point? Maybe I can actually send a few random products to him so it looks like I did sell him something?

 

Accumulate evidence of the scam. Report it to paypal. You can screw him over royally if you play your cards right.

You those screenshots mate. Everything that is possible to help you win the dispute in case he start a dispute on you.

If it is an unauthorized one, it is close to impossible for you to win.
But if it is a non-receipt dispute, kind of easy to win.

 

I had someone do the same thing and I won.

 

Sorry but I'm still kind of a newb to the whole Paypal dispute and stuff.

A lot of people said about screenshots, what kind of screenshots do I take? Because I conversed with him on Skype so should I take a few screenshots of that.

Also, trading GP in Runescape is illegal right? If I were to dispute against him with trading RS GP, wouldn't he win because the entire action is basically illegal?

And when do you think he will start disputing?

 

Also he made 6 different payments in total, and 2 of the payments are already being held on my account. Crap.

P.S. what's the difference between unauthorized and non-receipt dispute? Where can I check on Paypal which one it is?

 

PayPal doesn't cover Virtual Goods. If he does a non-receipt dispute, just phoned PayPal up and say that transaction is a virtual good trade.

 

Wait so how do I know if it's a non-receipt payment? I have already marked the money he paid as "Shipped". How do I check

 

If he does chargeback and it's not an unauthorised claim you might be able to fight your corner by saying it's virtual goods and there is a chance you might get a refund. Other than that it's not likely.

Well he paid 6 different payments in total and 2 of them are already held. What should I do now? Call Paypal? Or wait a bit until all 6 payments are held?

 

When it wasn't sent as a gift you should have immediately known what was up and refunded his money and told him to send it again.

 

Pretty sure he's paying you with hacked paypal accounts. This happened to me before.

 

I know, I'm pretty sure of this as well because he was so eager to go first and send ridiculous amounts of money (before we stopped he offered $32 for like 600k)

So am I basically screwed at this point? Is there still a chance for me to fight for the 7.5m that I sold to him

You are going to have to convince pp that you are the one being scammed. Good luck. :/

 

Basically, if its a hacked PayPal account you will NOT get your money. If he is using his own PayPal account, and he didn't change the IP address when he claimed unauthorised action, you will get your money.. It's really just wait and see - I recently lost 2 disputes to unauthorised as the PayPal accounts were hacked (I believe) so there is no way around that.
