Did any gold hacks actually work?

Hi there.

I was perusing youtube on my other laptop which has been subjected to countless trojans and viruses (I use it to test out fishy download/links, cleaning it every time I log off) and came across numerous gold hack videos. They usually have a link in the description to download X program. Some make it obvious they just wanna steal your account, others are trojans/keyloggers, others are just people trying to make money from pay-to-click/survey/marketing websites. However, I did come across one that did seem to be legit, however it said "Patched" in the description link within a week of being uploaded. So what's the verdict, is it possible to hack the RS servers and spawn items/gp and if so, has it been done as of yet?

 

I HIGHLY DOUBT SO... Most of these are viruses/keyloggers like you said and they get people from their hack forums or whatever to post comments like ' ofmgz tyz it works!' just to trick people...

the only people who can create gold are jagex. dont download that shit unless youd love a nice little keylogger.

 

gold can only be created server side(jagex) and gold seeming to be made client side(people) either only shows up on their screen and cant be traded or is faked completely.

Only thing close was the hack done in rsc where players could create any item they want, you might remember it as the "phat dupe/glitch"

 

Was that with a programme called 'autorune'?

 

Spawn is a better word, rather than create.

 

Those programs are out there so people end up keylogging themselves, gold would have no value if it could be hacked so easily.

 

It was possible and still might be but there is no way in hell that someone is going to release a method to the public through youtube. Ever.

They're all fake. Keyloggers, rats, etc.

Don't download them, they'll appear to be clean on some virus scans, but most likely they're still infected.
