There has recently been a lot of drama circulating the Donator lounge thread for dicing. This thread is not to discourage dicing as that's a completely different topic and has already been discussed in another thread and I believe dicing brings a lot to the community, assuming everything goes sweet.
Anyway, back to my point. I think there should be some strict rules regarding dicing, obviously rules cannot cover every single part, as there are many different unlikely scenarios which could occur.
For example: Member 'X' and member 'Y' are dicing for 10M, consisting of 5 rolls, best of 5. If member X and Y roll the same number for the first 4 rolls (tie), and member X rolls higher than player Y for the 5th roll.
This example obviously can cause un-needed drama if both participants don't come to an agreement on what should happen, and cause arguments. Member X could say "I won 1/5, you won 0/5, therefore I have won", and Member Y could counter the argument and say we didn't have a best of 5 as we tied 4.
Examples like this need addressing, i'm not sure how, but they do.
Basically, my point is, there are many flaws (obviously many many advantages too) with the current dice system on rare occasions and these occasions can cause uproar within the community.
Do you guys have any ideas how this can be stopped? Please do not say "Remove dicing altogether" because that has already been discussed and the vast majority agree with dicing as it brings the community closer in most situations. Please also take note that not every single scenario can be accounted for, there are many many extremely rare scenarios that could occur, therefore a different solution must be made.
Post ideas below.
Some ideas:
-Make all ties rerolls, no matter what the scenario.
This obviously does not mean re-roll the entire dice, for example: If player X won 3/5 in a best of 5, and the 4th roll was a tie, it wouldn't be a re-roll as Player X has already won. The re-roll would only occur when the outcome of the dice relies on the roll that was tied.
