Dexter: The mass murderer.

I have been watching Dexter since the first season. I must say that I love the show. It has several different aspects. It shows Dexter in himself as a murderer trying to live a normal life and sate his need to kill. It really interests me because, he feels justified and fulfilled by killing criminals that fit his father's profile of "people that deserve to be killed". He also, makes himself seem like a normal person by approaching people with his usual "nice-guy carrying donuts" facade. What do you all think about these last few seasons. And, if you haven't watched it. I think you guys should give it a whirl and see what you think. You won't be disappointed.

 

Seen all 5 seasons, great show. I'm jealous that you get to watch it all from scratch again

 

Easily one of the best series I've watched. The end of season 4 is depressing though

 

I'm actually thinking of downloading this show and watching it all, going to need some spare time though =\

 

An intense show when I used to watch. Sometimes too psychologically freaky though, lol.

 

i watched the first 3 seasons, love them, i just haven't found the time in my schedule to watch the other 2 seasons yet, alot of the people i know that watch them also like the show "breaking bad" just encase you were looking for another show. but yeah it is a great series they made and i was happy to see how good it turned out from what i have seen

 

I started watching the first season a few weeks ago, started liking the first few episodes, then it just got confusing.

I think it's a great show but sometimes confusing lol.

 

Pretty good show, I haven't been able to watch much of it lately though.

 

Alot of my friends have seen it and recommended it for me, though I have yet to just sit down and watch an episode. :s Maybe I'll give it go sometime soon ^_^

 

Dexter is easily one of the best character developmental shows I've ever seen. They really do a good job of making you like Dexter, even though he's a murderer. They make you feel a lot of empathy towards his situation and the way they gradually make him progress towards your normal human being and then only break him down to say 'You're fucked, you will never be like everyone else', just really makes you feel sorry for Dexter.

Seen all 5 seasons, really anticipating them releasing anything about the sixth. I can honestly say that the end of the 4th season was for the better (no spoilers) but it really did lead to a lot of interesting plot points and the people who were killed off (not naming names, no spoilers ) really didn't have much to go on at this point in the series :/

 

One of my favourite shows. When is season 6 coming out? I've been waiting for months

When season 4 ended i had to wait a fucking year for 5 to come out.. when 5 ended well im currently waiting for 6. And when a new season comes out ill watch the previous one just so i know exactly whats going on.

Personally think that Dexter, Broadwalk Empire,Soprano's and Breaking Bad are my favorite TV series, although shows Two and a Half Men and Big Bang Theory are great, i wouldnt wait a year in antisapation if they canned the shows to make more.. whereas with Dexter when a season ends your just like WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! , then you google when the next season is due and its almost exactly 1 year from the time you watched it ..

Started watching this show a couple days ago starting at the first season. Show isn't that bad I guess but the start of every show keeps getting longer with them showing you what happened in previous episodes. Then after that 5 minute bullshit they have the longest and dumbest start of any show. goes through him shaving making breakfast eating the crap and tying his shoes. So to actually get to the show it feels like an hour has gone by and I can no longer enjoy the actual show its self. Good concept for a show but real boring start to every episode. Can't even bother pressing play anymore cause if I have to watch this asshole make 1 more egg for 15 minutes I am gonna f**king kill someone myself

 

The show is awesome overall but the end of the latest season was a total buzzkill

 

Haha, yea but its the same with every episode, go watch all 9(?) of the soprano's seasons and when you hear that " woke up this morning " song you will want to neck up.
