Desert Treasure Questions

Hi, I had a few questions about desert treasure [started it months ago but never finished, ive done ice 1 and hav ring of visibility].
Would it be possible for my friend who has done it to come and block the bosses for me? I thought of this a while ago but I never did it, but I remembered it when I saw it on youtube.
Also, could he transfer his specials to me with lunar magics so i can dds and hide ?
If I have any more, I will post them here.

I don't think you can block for people anymore, I think Jagex removed that because to many low leveled pures were beating desert treasure easily. But the lunar magic strategy is ok I guess, although I wouldnt recomend it. I owned the shadow guys first form with d scim and air waved him from a safe spot that doesn't exist anymore.

Okay, I also forgot to mention I am combat 87, 73 attack 71 strength 70 defence 70 hp 62 mage and 50 range... if anyone could help me with a strategy or anything that would be very nice of them
also i do not have a whip any more (sold it for nats for high alching) so i have d scim/dds for melee

You can do them , bring your prayer pots (eeks i just noticed you didn't say how high is your prayer, guessing you can have the melee onee) ,1 super atk, 1 super str, fill the inv with prayer pots, ectophial, wear full proselyte, dragon scimitar (perhaps dragon mace, i did it with almost same level as you with a dragon scimitar though), boots of lightness, symbol, and 1 sharky (who knows !) .
You enter dungeon, turn melee prayer on, go to him, ignore totally any other mobs , just attack the boss, defeat first form (easy) teleout, restock prayers, come back, and hit the second form after boosting your str/atk, drink a prayer dose every 5 seconds or so, and just after drinking a dose re-aim at the boss (ie right click, attack-boss) (so that you do not loose time fighting the skeletons etc).
and every 1 potion finished check your prayer (switching to prayer interface in case your prayer fall too low you have to double drink fast).

I used about 15 prayer pots on him.

just wanted to ask if i have to do the six other quests just to get the ring from dt.

plz answer as soon as possible as this is very important to me..
