Desert Treasure, 11 Pray? :|

Hey, I want to do DT, however.. I'm not sure if I want to get over 11 Prayer. Is 31 prayer / 43 prayer worth it?

How hard is DT without 43 prayer? :/

Current stats:
70 Attack
93 Strength
1 Defence
1 Range
1 (Gonna be 11) Prayer
86 (Getting 94) Mage
60 Constitution

 

I'd say just get 13 personally.
That's a pretty good account and you don't really want to muck it up so I'd say keep 13 until you make a full decision on whether or not you want higher pray. And I'd also say you should get either 44 or 52 instead of 43.
However, in the end it's all up to you.

 

Just get a blocker for kamil and the ice trolls. It's harder with less than 43 def but not impossible. You can do it haha

 

Stick with 13 prayer, if you're going to go higher go straight to 45 in my opinion. All you need pretty much, as has been said is a blocker for the ice diamond dude. All the rest have safe spots/are easy enough with binds.

 

Its very easy expecially with ur levels ive done it on magic pures 1 prayer so it shud be a piece of cake for you.

 

Considering that you have a friend or someone who is willing to be your blocker, DT will not be hard at all for you. The ice troll part I found to be the hardest. I'm currently building a pure with 12 prayer (Because of avas accumulator it raised me one level) and its going well. I just hit 98 mage, I have enough zeals for 94 range and I'm 80 str and 73 hp.

Unless you think you're going to be claw rushing, which I wouldn't recommend unless you have a nice gold stack pile, then prayer would be a smart choice. However when fighting fair in edge without pissing people off, low prayer is a huge advantage to winning many fights.

Also raising prayer doesn't affect your stats if you get a high enough range and mage anyway, so in the end DT is worth the time and effort put into it. Check out a combat calc to see how prayer will effect the stats you want.

 

I have done DT without prayer on my 70 ranged pure. That was damn hard, died like 5 times during the whole quest and with those stats you could do it easily.

Damis was such a mindfuck, almost impossible to block him, you have to get a rat to block him. The others were much easier.

 

damis is a bitch. kamil is piss easy. u shud be fine with low prayer with those stats
