[Denied]Require proof of accounts in Web Market

In nearly all of the market sections we have there is a requirement to provide proof of your accounts, however not in the Web Market section. Here's a few threads that do not have any proof:

Not only accounts are being sold, also servers/domains are being sold which can easily be faked. Therefore I'd love a requirement added to the rules that requires users to provide proof upon creating those threads, so that even though it hasn't happened yet - it'll never be able to happen.

 

I totally agree especially whenever selling something like vps's and google cloud accounts. These are known get rich quick schemes and people end up not only scamming google but unable to provide adequate services to the end user. If they are selling vps/dedi they need to prove they actually have the hardware or something imo.

Google credits are just a whole different story poor google

 

Support. Might be a little harder to do (than say an OSRS account) since the types of services are very widespread, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that this is a great suggestion.

 

What type of proof are you expecting ?? You want proof that we have droplets created / vendors with data centers?

Tbh going to request my thread be deleted since this is already being suggested those who don't have proof are easily able to scam and I'd prefer not to be represented in this until this is passed or denied.

I already have proof up of over 1million USD in Cisco invo and over 30-40million in pictures that I'll be posting on that thread shortly...

Considering how easy it is to host a VPS droplet / purchase a dedi to rent out for a profit I'm surprised someone would consider that a get rich scheme when there's such a small market for it in general/ room for margins.

Probably one of the hardest things to scam is a VPS considering if you don't provide the VM to the client / a proper setup the user can quickly post a dispute not to count an average VPS goes for $7.5-$15 for a user on a casual / botting level... Much less of a risk than lets say offering services which has 0 requirements at all currently to do so.

You don't have to prove your workers aren't high risk Venezuelans nor do you have to have proof you know how to play the game / do services you are quoting on prior?

I think if anything the focus should be the servicing market ATM considering the daily issues that has compared to the web market which as mentioned by wortel has had 0 issues at all ;p

However this being said I support that some sort of proof should be required but since you aren't selling the account itself proving an accounts authenticity / credentials may be going further than needed considering that could possibly put the host server at risk if you are requiring confidential details which is what you would need to "prove " anything in regards to someone hosting. Unless you have the host take screenshots with their Sythe username as the droplet names IE : SticktalkVM1 SticktalkVM2 so on so forth prior to posting the thread. Outside of this there's not much verification you can do without putting others at risk.
