The domain twitter.com still exists, maybe change it in 6 -12 months in case Elon Musk gets bored and renames it again to something else?

Everyone I know is still calling it Twitter and only calls it "X" as a joke.

I agree with waiting for some time before changing it. I also agree that “x” is a terrible name and no one actually calls it that.

Twitter.com will continue to exist 10 years from now so that’s not a valid argument.

Not sure if waiting for musk to get bored is the best argument either.

I agree.. X seems like a bit of a troll from Elon, Twitter is known globally whereas if you mention X to someone they have no idea what you're talking about, someone mentioned it earlier here, may aswell leave it as twitter just in case he changes it back.

 

Rename it to "X (Twitter)" and problem solved. Support though.

 

After a discussion with the staff, we believe the Twitter name is more recognizable than the name x. We may consider this after the massive forums update coming soon.
