    [Denied] Remove programming fun ranks or commit to them
    Fun ranks were largely a reward for staff members, which is fair. However, I'm not opposed to more merit based fun ranks, i.e., programmer, graphics artist, etc, being given out to community members deserving. With that said, the overall non-community fun ranks should remain rare and hard to obtain, otherwise they lose all their value and attraction.

    The ranks are awarded at staff discretion we still hand them out. The irrelevance of some of the ranks IMO adds to their charm. We don't remove funranks (what's an OMM) and it's not in the spirit of a funrank to have strict guidelines for it to be distributed
