Here's a link of the news post when the DNT rank was implemented: Understanding the DNT (Do Not Trade) rank
We've also started to use the DNT rank as a precautionary measure. This is usually applied when a report remains open and the staff member handling it deems it likely that there is a debt. A clear example would be when a user is expected to pay someone but instead ghosts them. In such cases, there might be a valid reason for the user's disappearance, but we'd still want to protect the community by temporarily prohibiting the user from trading.
We have also used the DNT rank as a tool to encourage cooperation on a report. This is typically when a user is actively (auto)bumping their threads but hasn't provided any input or cooperation on an active report. A recent example involves the reports against Runehall.
Regarding this suggestion, it only applies to gambling sites. In my opinion, we shouldn't differentiate these rules between gambling and non-gambling sites. So, if the suggestion applies only to gambling sites, I don't support it. However, if this suggestion were to apply to all entities, I might support the idea but only if the DNT was applied as a precaution in the event of a potential scam. Aside from the report this suggestion refers to, I can't recall this situation occurring before. Therefore, I don't consider it a major issue either and believe it could easily be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Regarding this idea: users who have a permanent DNT (until successfully pardoned) or a permanent ban may already not be advertised on Sythe. I think we should handle these situations on a case-by-case basis. In the case of Runehall, I don't find it necessary, as stated above.I believe the simple change needed would be “DNT’d users are not allowed to be advertised by anyone, this includes but is not limited to titles, signatures, avatars”
