Sometimes I feel like people who have gotten banned for whatever reason will easily be forgotten due to the fact there are daily scam and ban evader reports here. However even though most of us are greedy for money we are all still human beings. Some people come to their senses and some were proven innocent. I wanted to dedicate a main thread for those to welcome them and wish them best of luck.

Please keep it nice in this thread. There is absolutely no reason to point them once again on their wrongs if they were banned before. Everyone can see what he recently got banned for by using the search index. Right now, just warmly welcome those who have left us a while ago and are now back in our midst.

I'll be writing down mainly where they used to be active (in which sections) but instead of that I could note down for what they got banned aswell, however I have a feeling that might have a negative influence on this thread. Let me know what you prefer.

Although I partly agree with this, you can still see reports in ras archive by searching through it (excluding problems like private reports) it’s still tedious to look through them. But on the other hand I think this wouldn’t be worth the time to implement something which is partly already there. Yes from me but I don’t see it happening, not worth time implementing

I don't know if you're unaware, but we currently have this exact system. If you wish to investigate a user you can search up their name in Report a Scammer Archive and Dispute Forum Archive, you will find any previous offences. This is specifically why we do not delete or remove unique identifying information from threads, they can be used to assess someone in the future.

As for your suggestion, the pardon system is a clean slate. We want to promote users to amend their past mistakes so that the victims have a chance of getting their money back. Having a mark on their profile will discourage users from making things right and will encourage continuous ban evasion.

This suggestion has been denied.

Well said @Pendulum. To add to @Pendulum's point, I think our current staff team does a wonderful job about who we allow back into the community. Sometimes mistakes happen of course we are all human, but for the most part I think everyone deserve another chance regardless. You can always do your own research on anyone before trading with them.
