[DENIED] Guide Sales

Recently the guide sales forum got spammed out with rubbish and resellers due to this the guide section moved in the guides, and you can no longer sell guides on sythe.

However i believe it should be reintroduced with the caveat of if you want to sell a guide the moderator of the guides section will approve or deny the post, with the rule that if you want to sell a guide on sythe it has to be verified by a member of staff or an extremely high donor to sythe.

Once the guide has been approved and able to sell, that way we know it will be a legitimate guide.

Maybe there could be some added ruling to this too;

such as all sales must be made through sythe no 3rd party buying/selling windows.

The benefits for the high donors would be highlighted, they would now have access to verifying guides

Tbh I'd be interested in burning money on good guides but I agree that most are sketchy clickbait shit.

Having the regular mods go about approving every guide would be a waste of time on their end. Even if they do approve it, it's highly relative whether something is a "good guide". Having an extremely high donor on Sythe doesn't really work too well imo.

Would be nice to have more sectional moderators to help out with these types of things but doesn't look too likely.

Tldr: I'd be all for it but it probably needs to be filtered another way.

99% of guides are stolen, too good to be true, or publicly available methods that people are trying to resell as their own. If a method were truly valuable, no one would sell you a guide for $5 on how to replicate it. What sort of guide could you possibly want to buy knowing that you're almost certainly getting scammed in the process?

Also, agreed with the "this is a waste of staff time" points @amyrs1356 made. We don't know nearly enough to verify most of these guides, so we're not able to reliably enforce this type of rule in the first place.
