[DENIED] Increase booster miniranks

Currently there are like 4 miniranks for League of Legends and Overwatch boosters, seen here:

I would like to request similiar miniranks to be made for games such as WoW, Dota 2 and CSGO. We're requiring picture proof of ranks for either all or some of these games when they are higher ranked, aswell as they are free to verify their boosting ranks which results in them getting miniranks, for example, one of the above. As said in the threads replies below those ranks can be quite rewarding and therefore I'd like to encourage them more also for games such as WoW, Dota 2 and CSGO. Possibly also Rocket League or another game. I'm fine getting some of those miniranks and providing what ranks they should be assigned to, but for now, please share your opinion regarding this suggestion. Right now this feels incomplete and if this suggestion gets denied I wish the above miniranks to be removed aswell, because it would make no sense having those over the games I want them to be available for aswell.

 

I like the idea of having all the games be in unison with regards to verification/requirements as I like to have things tidy and organized.

I believe all boosting sections, at minimal, should require their rank proof (in picture form) on their threads, but verification is up to the users discretion (not required).

I'm fine with either keeping the current Miniranks or putting it into one.
Pros:
- Reduces the bulk of Miniranks we already have on Sythe.
- Could possibly make it easier for Admins to hand out one Verified Minirank instead of having to look for the different ranks.
Cons:
- Higher ranked users will now be put on the same level as lower ranked users, losing their advantage over others. You mentioned that their threads can be ordered by ranks in a "main thread." My suggestion for this is to have the Minirank be "clickable" similar to Sythe award minis: in which it redirects people to the "[Section]Boosting main thread," showing the ranks of each verified booster.

I find it stupid to have a bunch of miniranks for boosters, I doubt a lot of people specifically looks at that before finding a booster. In my opinion an easy alternative, with the same result, is to have a moderator or booster verifier post the boosters rank in their thread and after that the booster can put that in their OP if they want.

Right now there are a bunch of different miniranks to classify what rank a booster has. This is what the topic is about, that the miniranks should be removed. Especially when we get boosters for more games.

 

It took me over 3 months to get OW verified. There had to be a new OW verifier added for me to get verified. It's very disappointing that Sythe hasn't updated the boosters, and included other games such as Dota.

Support - especially for people selling boosts it creates more trust and a great incentive

 

I'm not sure about this idea. At least in LoL, there is a LARGE difference between those ranks and I feel like people would need to know whether somebody is the rank they say they are. Pictures can be faked pretty easily.

 

Can't do it for LoL. Said ranks represent an actual rank and rating, and said images are of that rating. It cant be generalised at all.

 

What Andy said + I personally can't wait till I get to diamond and acquire that awesome minirank so it would be a real shame if it was removed.

Just add miniranks for other games that have ranks in them if people can buy/sell stuff or advertise services for them.

 

How come there isn't any boosters for RS? I'm sure people would boost rouge kills etc in BH? Just curious

 

I don't support the generalization of mini ranks but I support the increase of booster mini-ranks.

This is because:

1. The different mini ranks differentiate the caliber of the user on that specific game.
2. Gives potential buyers insight on how good the seller is.
3. Not fair to generalize a player with higher ranking and a player with a lower ranking in the same category.
4. A common problem that could occur is a buyer who is not satisfied by ones service even though they are verified

Eg. Buyer chose a Verified booster but was done poorly (slow service) or incomplete because said booster was not good enough to carry games.

I would support having 1 mini-rank for each game with the contingency that the rank verifiers would leave a post on sellers thread and states his rank/level.

OR

If they must state their rank in the title.
