[Denied] Remove custom user title's and signatures of banned users

Not going to post an example to give a banned user free advertisement, but would be a good idea to automatically change a banned users 'user title' to something else, e.g just blank it (remove it).

Some banned users often still have a lot of posts through-out the forum, and shouldn't be given the privilege of still having their hyperlinks and/or advertisement still displayed on their user title in my opinion.

Same should apply to non self requested DNT users who are in the first place not permitted to trade.

Would like to hear input regarding it.

DNT users should have minimal functionality. No signatures, no usertitles, no avatars, nothing. Only the ability to post, and PM staff (as per the pending suggestion).

 

For sure agree with that, and would probably be a better to include the suggestion of removal of signatures within here too

This would require mods to personally go into accounts and remove these settings so I have no idea of this will go anywhere, but ya they should be removed.

 

Could probably just have it so that banned user automatically has the user title nulled / set to member etc.
I may be wrong though

There has been a discussion with staff about having the DNT usergroup's signature disabled, but there wasn't an easy way to do that, it would have to be custom coded. Something like this is very low priority if it even was on the to do list. If you see a DNT user with a signature or user title that could potentially lead to scams, feel free to report the user's profile and a moderator may remove the advertisement if they feel its warranted.

No, you can remove the permissions from the DNT usergroup in Mod/Admin CP.

This should be custom coded to hide certain elements of user on a web page. Wait for XenForo 2.x first.
