[DENIED] Disable Images in Dice Sections

Or at least add a "Warning: This post contains an image" similar to when a post is edited. I caught someone scamming like this in the past:


I'd imagine not everyone's right-clicking every dice roll to make sure there's no cheats.

 

can still tell the diff between a pic and a real roll but yeah maybe if someone glanced at it quick it would slip by

and it would only work if they rolled 2nd as quoting it would make it obvious it was fraud/a picture


edit: just did some tests and normal dices are always transparent to the background while pictures will always appear darker. also the image and an actual dice dont match in positioning on the post itself. and as i said earlier, quoting makes it extremely obvious

with that said, to someone new or someone who barely dices....I could see them maybe falling for it if the image was used to roll second so theres no quote

 

@WantaCookie looks really similar to the background, its not obvious to tell.

 

similar but not the same. i didnt say it was obvious. someone who dices regularly would look at that and see the difference in shade between inside and outside the green.

Yea I don't believe people who frequent the section will fall for it, but I know of at least 2 instances where it has worked on somebody (one of which I reported a while back)

Also it doesn't line up in your tests but I believe it can be lined up if you get the image to the exact right size. I just took a quick screenshot for my example but with some work you could get it lined up perfectly so that the only way to tell would be to right click or quote a post

I support this, anyone with basic knowledge in photoshop could do something like this with correct spacing + transparent background easily, the only reason I can see for allowing images is the posting of minirank images for dicing, I'm not sure if that is in the same subforum anyways.

 

This has been around for ages. TBH I wouldn’t be surprised if people have gotten away with it

 

I like how he actually rolled a 86 then an 88 with the fake pic of a 96.

Yeah I don't even know why this has never come up before, there's no reason to allow this and I actually didn't even know this was possible.

Obviously support, should be a perma-ban if someone is caught doing so.

 

99% sure anyone caught doing this is getting banned/dnted/ twced as doing this would constitute scamming.

and i barely even post on any suggestions and this one is actualy good one cus im dicing alot myself and woud defo support it dont need to add any other reason to it.
