I think the same, so while well meant, it will prevent very little scams IMO and it will need to be updated very frequently.

IIRC we also wanted to get away from "lists of", as sythe as a whole is a big database and we want people to register and utilize the search option - this doesn't require frequently updated list and is more comprehensive.

There is actually a potential harm, IMO. The list won't include all previously reported IDs and some people might find it to be sufficient enough to not search the whole forum (or at least the Anti-scam section archive). Well and if they do search the whole forum, then there's no need for such list.

One of the great benefit of having a sythe account is that you are able to use the search option with ease.

I would prefer if we didn't implement this suggestion at all, including Gen's idea. We can, however, and maybe we should, encourage people to report imposters, because I assume that many people don't report them.

EDIT 2: I would also like to avoid making any lists that can be easily used by Discord server owners to update their databases, as this is potentially damaging to sythe.org. Register on sythe and use sythe.

If we want to get away from 'lists of' and taking more time then it should, then it shouldn't get implemented. Encouraging reports is better, but more tedious. Rather, more focus should be on not getting scammed by imposters. Sythe has done their job very well in not being scammed, but could probably be improved. The imposter roaming around isn't the actual problem, as the people falling for imposters will not see the thread in time. Rather, being PM'd by random users for trades etc, should be highly marked as a scam etc (not necessarily that, but just red flags.). You get the point. Don't focus on the imposters, as they can create hundreds of accounts. Focus on not getting in contact with guys like those to start off with.
