[DENIED]Custom former name

Hi,

My previous suggestion was removed because it was in the form of a question. I am suggesting being able to get a custom former name by changing name twice within like a minute of each other hence being able to get a custom former name

 

Not sure how this would work? Do you mean have a different Formerly known as to what people do?

Formerly known as is there for a reason, Say someone tried doing something they shouldn't, then changed their name to something completely different, people won't be able to tell the difference
That is what i think, not sure about any other people
Picture this: Someone takes 1b, and they change their name to 10000 before their name was skills, how would anyone know who it was?

 

well the mods would know and you can log it just doesn't look nice

 

I mean, maybe a colour on it would make it look better. Not really too sure though,
Does it not expire after a while and just leave you with your name

 

The "formerly known as" must remain for 6 months after name change - no way around it. There are security/safety reasons behind why.

I am still confused even after you changed post. What do you mean by having a 'custom former name' by changing name twice quick. There is a Name Change Request Thread where they are approved when admins find time so I don't think there could be two back-to-back approved anyways.

 

You only keep “formerly known as” for 6 months.

No support, it’s important to know who you’re trading with, and removing this would just make that one extra step for investigation needs.

 

Users with the appropriate donator ranks are allowed to use custom HTML to customize their temporary Formerly Known as X user titles. We will not be removing the User Title requirement for name changes anytime soon.

 

Won't happen as this would let users instantly remove their original name.
