[DENIED]Change the "Spam forum rules" to "Side wide rules" on Discord.

Discord now seems to follow site-wide rules rather than spam forum rules.

"All other conduct rules are ineffective (Spamming, trolling, flaming etc)."

This is clearly not the case anymore as anyone that trolls/flames gets banned from the Discord, especially if they speak the truth about a certain user.

Discord is now a safe haven for crybabies who participate in the spam forum but get special treatment from everyone else.

You can no longer participate in the Discord as you were once able to many months ago, Nazi Andy is already banning people for being friends with members he doesn't like.

 

yh man, 100% agree. I contribute nothing to the spam forums, I only browse. with that being said past week or so I've noticed a slow decline in spam forum worthy posts. since when do we treat the spam forum as a general forum lol. at this rate might as well just remove the spam forum since we already have a general forum.

 

Kinda prefer the other way around. No support. Spam Forum is a safe haven to an extent. If you can't restrain yourself from breaking the additional Spam Forum then perhaps the new 8chan forum is the right place for you.

I got banned for 3 months with no proof of what I said, @veng saying I can't get banned for calling I___ a p________ and this is after I said if a staff member Global Mod or HIGHER told me to stop because I'd get banned for saying the TRUTH, I would. Nobody ever spoke to me about the situation, I was never told to not call him a p_______, I was told I was 'harassing' which is the most grey bullshit ruling ever. Right now the ruling is far too grey, and literally let's staff members decide when a trolling/harassment line is crossed. That's bullshit and what people with 0 HR experience are okay with doing. It's either site-wide ruling, or it's spam forum ruling. Don't bring up finances. Every single member on this website is free to say what they want, be involved with who they want, go in to whatever voice channel they want. No. Single. Member. Support, the discord chat is very tame for the most part and users experience little to no harassment as. Users CHOOSE to participate in the "Discord Spam Forum" and there for should have the same rights as someone in spam forum. Remember the fact that should you have a negitive conversation with someone you able too BLOCK them for how ever long you want and even able to use a plug in to hide their messages.

Basically if you don't have the balls to be in the spam forum part of the discord, stick to the trade channels.

Hell you can add a role where if assigned you can't see the general chat of the discord and therefore withdraw from all spam forum posts. This could help those with a weak mental use discord for trading purposes without the spam forum banter.

The funny thing about the people who aren't supporting this used to try to partake in the spam forum but lost.
If I cared enough Im sure I could go back and find each and every person who is complaining of it being too harsh/toxic/harassment trying to flame people in the past but just weren't good at it.

There is certain people who have years of experience in spam forum and its a harsh learning curve. If you can't compete and can't hang with the level of trolling and flame that spam has and should always have (that was the point of the spam forum) don't partake and leave...

Imagine if you played a soccer/football game and you scored the first goal and were all cocky about it...
Imagine the other team comes back at you and scores three goals and wins said soccer/football game.
Would you see the original team go to the refs/league officials and try to change the rules of the game? no... theyd practice and come back next year with some better skills... maybe they lose again.. maybe they win but why would the league even entertain the idea of changing the rules for the losers?
Moral of the story is if you can't handle losing don't play the game.

Let me clarify for you.

We are dealing with pathological liars here. They will tell lies just for the sake of lying and not to gain anything from it. Pathological liars often create a skewed reality which they believe is real and they will do anything to convince others. The problem is that other people that don't suffer from this disorder hop on the train for the sake of trolling and eventually start believing the same fake reality as the disordered people.

I'm fine with trolling and it was fun the first day. Thing is, the small gang of internet warriors were told to stop because they turned a diverse channel into a channel for harassing a single person. You might not be aware, but a large amount of spam forum participants have expressed concerns about this because it gets redundant and boring. The moderators were very patient but although tens of warnings they would continue. This warrants a ban.

If you've seen what has been going on and adopt the same behaviour... Well, you do the math. But since you already believe you're exposing a "truth" I draw the conclusion that you belong in the same category as pathological liars and I therefore don't expect you to understand.

Conversing with friends does not equivocate to threatening/consistently harassing people." do people not understand here? 20 people attacking one person every hour of the day for weeks is not light trolling. The drama started with two people talking crap about each other and both parties exchanged hurtful words. Grow up and move on.

Many users were given warnings before their removals/bans. I do not want to hear about unfair treatment or mishap when specific users have received over three warnings to stop.

If you do not want staff to tighten up specific rules for discord, then do not abuse them. Previous abuses such as the "doxing rule" of discord caused an influx of 50+ reports in a short span of time because people were looking for reasons to get others banned. This forced us to be more strict on the rule. The harassment rule is no different as a lot of you try to push the limits and this causes staff to waste their time to babysit.

If you can not stop attacking specific users after multiple warnings then there is no reason for staff to not remove you from the discord. A lot of you guys replying to this thread are smarter than this, you know these "mob mentality" attacks going too far. This is nothing but a mere waste of time for all the parties involved.
